Next Cards for Troops: July 26th-Halloween Theme

  • Thank you to everyone who made it today!  I'll let you know a count on cards soon!  Congrats to Dianne who won the $25 in free products at our Stampin' Up! New Catalog Kick Off!

I'm looking forward to our next Cards for Troops: July 26th, 2014--

  • I’m hosting a FREE make-and-take workshop to make cards for the troops while featuring Stampin’ Up! Products. I create six cards to choose from, and we meet to create cards for deployed troops. (A small donation is appreciated for shipping and material. $2-$5, if you choose to donate; it is not required!) You can make a card for yourself if you attend and as many as we have time to make for the troops.

What do you need to bring?
-Please RSVP for you or any friends so I can ensure I bring enough card kits!

-If you have crafting tools, please bring the following:
     Scissors
     Wet Glue--no glue sticks
     Tape Runner
     Glue Dots
     3D Foam Adhesive
     Tweezers
     Bone Folder

-This is a BYOF (bring your own food). We are too busy crafting to eat.

Hope to see you there!

I Mustache You...

This card is created with our new Framelit: Mustache.
It has a matching stamp that says, "You Da Man". I used a saying from our hip new set: "@SoSocial".

Happy Crafting!

Catalog/Idea CASE

I've been using our Catalog/Idea book for ideas!  It's fun to go through the catalog and CASE (copy) their work with your own colors/twist.

Here is my CASE from page 107 for the set:
"From the Heart"

This was so much fun to make!

Also, I challenged myself to use each stamp set in "Boys Will Be Boys" for Cards for Troops, and I did it!  Here are my last cards from the set:

Finally, here's a card from our new set "Sumthin', Sumthin'"

All in all, it was a great crafting day.  I'm almost ready for tomorrow.  I can't wait to see everyone!

Yo, What's Up?

This is the Operation Write Home Sunday Challenge Sketch 230:

 OWH Weekly Blog Challenge

I hope everyone is enjoying their HOT Sunday afternoon!
I made this card with all new sets from our new catalog:
Boys Will Be Boys
What's Up?
Work of Art

From the Work of art set, I colored the Yo to make the greeting.

With our new sets, I have been trying to come up with ideas that use each stamp in the set.  This Saturday, June 28th at our New Catalog Kickoff I will be focusing on new sets, but specifically, I will feature each stamp from Boys Will Be Boys.  I don't know about you, but I just love this set!  Come out Saturday to see our new items, make a card for yourself, and craft cards for deployed troops' families!

Happy Crafting!
