Craft of Kindness #31

Whew, what a week!  We sent our youngest off to college and returned to school this week.  I'm certainly looking forward to catching up on sleep!  Luckily, I made this challenge two weeks ago so it would be ready for you bright and early!

Here are the details for the Craft of Kindness Challenge:
1.    I'll post a sketch twice a month on Sunday.
2.    Complete the sketch and email it to me: misyra@gmail.com (I'll post your picture on my blog and Facebook.)
3.    Bring your card to donate to the next Card for Kindness event.
4.    Each person who participates and brings their card to donate will receive the sketch pattern free for participating and be added in the monthly Stampin' Up! drawing.
5.    The drawing will be held once a month.  You may be entered up to two times a month!
6.    The drawing will take place at the monthly Crafts of Kindness event.

Details on the next event: I’m hosting a $5 make-and-take workshop to make “Cards for the Kindness” while featuring Stampin’ Up! Products. I create six cards to choose from, and we meet to create cards for several groups: children, Windsor Estates, and Lake Regional OB.

·      Quality is more important than quantity
·      Use A2 cards (5 1⁄2 X4 1⁄4)
·      Avoid glue mishaps:
please clean excess glue
·      Include envelopes
·      Avoid “Sticker Sneeze”
·      We always need:

o  Birthday
o  Sympathy
o  Thinking of You

What do you need to bring?
·      Please RSVP for you or any friends so I can ensure I bring enough card kits!
·      $5 to cover expenses or place an order for $25 or more to attend for free.  Your $5 covers cards and mailing expenses, snacks, and you may take one card for your own use.  You may not take more than one card since this is an event to make cards for others in need.

·      Scissors
·      Wet Glue--no glue sticks
·      Tape Runner
·      Glue Dots
·      3D Foam Adhesive
